Construction
Our construction practice advises developers, project sponsors, project lenders, public bodies, contractors and consultants on the delivery of major infrastructure and real estate development projects across Oman and internationally.
Our lawyers have extensive experience acting on construction and engineering mandates ranging from landmark commercial developments to complex multi-plant industrial facilities. Our expertise spans all stages of project development, including procurement strategy, contract structuring, project planning, risk allocation and management, development and financing arrangements, and the negotiation of PFI/PPP project agreements.
We advise on the full spectrum of contract structures and project delivery models, including EPC and EPCM contracts, design-build, construction management agreements, FEED agreements, long‑term service and maintenance agreements (LTSA) and O&M agreements as well as engineering, architectural and consulting contracts.
We work seamlessly with Commercial, Corporate and Project and Finance teams to develop bespoke contractual frameworks for first‑of‑a‑kind and complex projects. Working closely with our leading contentious construction team known for its strong track record in resolving high‑value construction disputes, we help clients identify potential areas of dispute at an early stage and develop effective prevention and resolution strategies.
Clients value our multidisciplinary approach, which is designed to safeguard projects, minimise legal and operational risk, and support successful project execution from procurement through to completion.
