Jamal is licensed to appear before the Primary Courts of Oman. Prior to joining AMJ Jamal interned with the Public Authority for Consumer Protection as well as with a renowned legal firm in Muscat. Within the Firm, Jamal has gained much experience on civil, commercial, and labour disputes and has acted for clients in different sectors before the above courts whilst undertaking research of legal documents, drafting pleadings for court cases, providing advice on administrative matters, employment and other litigation strategies. Jamal assists senior lawyers in the firm with drafting submissions and appearing before Omani courts.

Preparing applications for the appointment of experts and suspension of enforcement proceedings.

LABOUR DISPUTES:
Assisting lead counsel with drafting of submissions for various labour related cases;
appearing at court hearings to file statements on behalf of the Firm’s clients in respect of their employment and labour matters as well as their commercial disputes.
Assisting lead counsel with representation at court hearings in various courts in Muscat, Salalah and Sohar.
Assisting lead counsel with defending labour related claims for unfair termination and providing advice on various labour law related issues.
Advising on penalties and work regulation.
Follow up with timely and effective legal advice to clients
